Pretty much a constant state of things at our house. |
Bike rides. |
Nail cutting time. Thank you Nate for capturing everyday moments. :) |
Reading The Hobbit to the fam. |
This is what Matthew does while Nate reads. :) |
Emilia draws pictures of Hobbits and such while she listens. |
I asked if they'd pose for a picture. So obliging. Thank you friendly neighbor cows. |
Trying to tackle Dad. Wrong sport, but that's okay... |
He does not give up easily. |
Precious boy. |

Beautiful photos! What a great DAY IN THE LIFE OF...My son LIVES in a super hero cape. Glad he's not the only one.
Thanks Jamie. Yes, he wears his cape most days. It's getting pretty worn out! :)
What a beautiful life! Thank you for the peek into your everyday. It looks lovely!
I am so thankful for what God has given. We sure are blessed, aren't we?!

Thanks for posting real life... couch forts, library books and forgotten dressups also fill my days (and house)! If you want another fun project - full disclosure: I have not yet tried it myself but hear from trusted friends it is easy and fun - you could make everyone superhero capes/pirate headscarves/lion tails (my 3yo DS does this) by dyeing playsilks. Silks are cheap online at Dharma Trading - you want the 8mm 35x35 Habotai ones - and here are two links for the how-to with KoolAid (not kidding - works great, I'm told): http://www.gerberadesigns.com/triedandtrue/?p=390, and http://artfulparent.typepad.com/artfulparent/2008/03/dyeing-playsilks-with-kool-aid.html . We're aiming for this as a midsummer birthday project!
Fun idea!
I love every single picture! What a precious day packed with blessings! It's a great idea to take pics throughout the day, as the little moments are the ones I'll want to remember. :)
