For the record, I am concerned about socialization.
There are some days...
that I just have to say, "no" to more socialization.
We can't get together with friends every.single.day.
Even if that's what my kids want to do. :)
Socializing with others is a good thing, but family/down time is also a good thing.
Not to mention that we should stay home more so that we actually accomplish the three R's. ;)
So, yes. I have concerns.
However, my concerns are probably not the same as the person (or people) asking. :)

I love this post! I have to admit I don't know much about homeschooling but I'm enjoying my education through your blog!
Thank you Katie. :) :)
This was great, Heidi! Very clever. ;)
I use this one too!! :D
:)
So cute! Love all the pics of those weird, unsocialized children!! :)
Ha! Me too. :)
Heidi, thanks for sharing your link over at Home Educating Family's blog. This is a great post! :)
Thanks for coming over to check it out! :)
What a bunch of freaks! Those unsocialized homeschoolers! I have a couple of them myself. Mine are as much unsocialized freaks of nature as yours are. LOVE IT!
This is great! I'm starting to worry about the same thing. There are SO MANY opportunities for the kids to get involved with, I'm like, "Wait a minute...we need time to BE HOME too, right?" ;)
Yes, Yes, Yes!!! This is my answer too!! Sometimes you just have to have a whole week where you see NO ONE. Just Mom, Dad and kids. Ahhh.
