This is kind of a fun blogging morning for me.  I've been featured on two different blogs!

I'm a new contributor over at Heart of the Matter.  Today, my second post is online.  It outlines our curriculum for the coming year.  Head on over and check it out!  Disclaimer:  The first picture of all that curriculum stacked in a pile isn't mine.  It would have been a good idea for me to send a picture of our actual curriculum, but I didn't even think about it.

As far as Bible as a subject...we don't have a specific Bible study that we do during "school".  Our choice of curriculum is based on a Biblical Worldview (showing that everything hinges on the Lord - the Creator of all that we study), and our Bible reading is done as a family in the evenings as well as individually (so right now, only Nate, Emilia, and I have individual Bible reading time since none of the others can read or read well enough).  Scripture verse memory is done through our church.  The kids memorize verses for Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Also, I follow a very informative, organized homeschooling blog that a sweet, fun mom authors.  Jamie, from The Unlikely Homeschool, has a Weekly Kids Co-op so other bloggers can link up and share their fun, creative learning ideas.  Today, she's featuring my post!

It's nothing spectacular.  It's nothing that I planned out for hours.  It's actually a pretty simple activity, but the kids really enjoyed it.

Thank you, Jamie!

And to close...here's a little taste of what we've been up to this summer.

Hope you're all enjoying your summer as well!
