It doesn't surprise me that your kids run around barefoot. It doesn't matter how cold it is....my kids always want to wear short sleeves!<br />Mikey does come put his cold little nose on my cheek from time to time for a warm up. Maybe I should lower the thermostat, I might get more snuggling out of him.Melissanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965614136265363341.post-67452458015440642602012-01-24T18:22:23.647-05:002012-01-24T18:22:23.647-05:00Never thought of using oil lamps! We put one in the kitchen sink, in the dining room and 2 in the living room. They contribute to a relaxing atmosphere while helping us be frugal.Aunt Denisenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965614136265363341.post-80488975066376444852012-01-19T14:53:46.917-05:002012-01-19T14:53:46.917-05:00Our house is kept much cooler than most, as well, ...Our house is kept much cooler than most, as well, but not quite 60! You're a warmer woman than I am! When Chris was home with his girlfriend we were polite hosts and turned the heat up to 70ish. We even turned on the space heater in the upstairs bedroom. We roasted and she still had on slippers and a sweater. We've always told the kids you can layer up...that's what slippers, sweaters and quilts are for.Aunt Denisenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965614136265363341.post-51661795770678484032012-01-17T21:22:31.369-05:002012-01-17T21:22:31.369-05:00Hi Kate! It does save some money, but not as much as I think it should for suffering so... ;) You take care as well. :)Heidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06100479235759046714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965614136265363341.post-6468065396664746062012-01-17T21:08:33.649-05:002012-01-17T21:08:33.649-05:00Stopping by to say hello, Heidi!
