With the birth of the Royal Baby imminent and the birth of a good friend's baby early this morning (she was, by the way, not due for another 8 days...not that I was keeping track...), I decided to console myself by reading about something that holds on to their babies longer than I do...
Click the link above (or these links: Video of elephant being born or Video of baby African elephant learning to stand) if you'd like to do a little homeschool lesson with your children.
And while you're at it, say a little prayer for me to have patience.

Its neat how all the adult elephants are gathered around working together to help the little one stand.
ReplyDeleteHang in there!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, The Mrs! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, praying. And super excited to "meet" this newest addition to your lovely family. Soon and very soon....
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to meet her too!
ReplyDeleteYou must make a very nice home that no baby ever wants to leave. I remember being two weeks over with #3. It's miserable. I pray she arrives soon! Can't wait to see pictures.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why, Heidi, but the Lord prompted me to pray for you this afternoon. It is 4:50 on Thurs. Praying all is well with you and baby.

ReplyDeleteThank you for praying for me. Yesterday was a good day, and at that particular moment, I was at a park with the kids enjoying the day. I wasn't obsessing (like I have been) about when this child is going to exit my body. ;) This waiting game is never easy, even after having done it 5 times! So, I covet your prayers! Thanks again. :)
